First aid kit

Together with the Finnish Rescue Services, we developed a year-round product suitable for personal rescue in difficult terrain conditions.

The product is designed based on the Talousree. The axle system of the first aid sled has been changed so that the sled can be easily and quickly transformed for both winter use with skids and summer use with a bogie axle system. Replacing the axle only requires removing and reattaching four bolts. Connection to a snowmobile or tracked ATV is done using either a traditional hitch, an ATV adapter or a tow ball bar, depending on the situation.

The first aider's superstructures have been raised with higher supports, which can be easily covered with a protective tarpaulin. Inside the protective tarpaulin, the patient is protected from the exhaust fumes of the tug-of-war, dusty snow, slush, and branches and twigs. The tarpaulin has wide zippered windows and ventilation. Inside the first aider are quick stretchers manufactured by Pensi, which are attached to their own locking rack. In addition, the product includes a CE approved disaster bag.

The product has been tested with rescue service professionals in Central Finland, Pirkanmaa and South Savo. The feedback has been very positive and it is great to be involved in making important equipment for rescue operations!
